Tax-Exempt Status & Financial Governance

Transparency & Donor Inquiries
Are donations to Aaranya Development Foundation tax-deductible?
Yes. Aaranya Development Foundation is a registered, approved non-profit institution under Section 44(6) of the Income Tax Act. Official tax-exempt receipts with digital verification QR codes are issued automatically via email for all contributions.
How are donor funds allocated across your programs?
We maintain an audited 86/14 efficiency ratio: 86% of every dollar goes directly into field operations, equipment, community micro-grants, and indigenous ranger salaries. 9% covers governance and rigorous scientific monitoring, and 5% supports operational administration.
What payment methods are supported for international and local donors?
We accept major international credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) via encrypted Stripe Checkout, local FPX bank transfers, PayPal, wire transfers for institutional grants, and direct foundation trust allocations.
What is your approach to Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC)?
Aaranya operates under unconditional adherence to the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). We never initiate field activities without written and deliberative oral accords signed by village elders and community councils after extensive multi-month consultations in indigenous mother tongues.
